Queen Elizabeth Rededicates Herself

We are all Anglos now, and we all have adopted the culture of Anglosphere. The language we speak influences not only our thoughts, but our implicit preferences as well. Bilingual individuals' opinions of different ethnic groups are affected by the language in which they take a test probing their biases and predilections.

Charlemagne said that to speak another language is to possess another soul. Language is much more than a medium for expressing thoughts and feelings. Language creates and shapes our thoughts and feelings as well.

Queen Elizabeth of England said she is rededicating herself to the service of the UK and its people as she celebrates her Diamond Jubilee. In a speech to both Houses of Parliament, Queen Elizabeth said the commemoration of her 60 years on the throne was a chance to come together in a spirit of neighbourliness and celebration.

Great Britain is now Little Britain, a slave state yoked to Brussels. Its fall was inevitable, but the economic crisis will shrink the last pretenses of empire faster than anyone expected. Suddenly, the sun that once never set on the British Empire is casting long shadows over what's left of Britain's imperial past.

This is a watershed moment for Uncle Ken (UK). The country's public debt is soaring. The great engine room of British prosperity, the financial sector, now feels like an anchor. The glory days of London are now grinding to a halt. The main symbol of Britain's global might, London found financing for some of the earliest and most prominent multinational companies, and has had greater influence on global finance than Westminster has had on geopolitics.

Queen Elizabeth said: During these years as your Queen, the support of my family has, across the generations, been beyond measure. Prince Philip is, I believe, well-known for declining compliments of any kind. But throughout he has been a constant strength and guide. We are reminded here of our past, of the continuity of our national story and the virtues of resilience, ingenuity and tolerance which created it. I have been privileged to witness some of that history and, with the support of my family, rededicate myself to the service of our great country and its people now and in the years to come. So, in an era when the regular, worthy rhythm of life is less eye-catching than doing something extraordinary, I am reassured that I am merely the second sovereign to celebrate a Diamond Jubilee.

The European Union Act of UK, which came into force in July 2011, states that any proposed future EU treaty or amendment to existing treaties and ratchet clauses that transfer competences or power from UK to the EU would require a referendum. An act of UK parliament is required before any EU law can take effect in Britain. Limited treaty changes which do not transfer powers from London to Brussels must still be approved by an act of parliament before UK can agree to them.

The decision by Cameron to block a Fourth Reich treaty change by using his country's veto power has sparked a festive atmosphere among libertarian Europeans. Cameron has applied the very veto that former Prime Minister John Major should have used against the Maastricht Treaty, which created euro. We should just be grateful.

I congratulate Cameron on an undeniably brave decision. There is an exciting sense that we are at the beginning of a very profound change in which our tortured relationship with Fourth Reich will be redefined, at long last. UK has been a downtrodden wife stuck in a bad marriage, constantly threatening to go but never having the nerve. Now she is finally revolting, and it is bound to start a domino chain of secessions.

Ever since Margaret Thatcher famously demanded "I want my money back," Britain has had to contribute less to the EU than the size of its economy would otherwise require. Napoleon Sarko is very rude to Britons, telling Cameron "you missed a good opportunity to keep your mouth shut. We are sick of you criticizing us and telling us what to do. You say you hate the euro and now you want to interfere in our meetings." Some times Sarko avoids an extended hand of Cameron to greet him!

The ties that bind the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and in different ways other nations that share some of the values of the Anglosphere are deeper and more abiding than the bonds between any other countries. The relationship between the nations of Anglosphere is founded not just on a shared language, but also on shared history, on shared values, and upon shared ideals. Together they have withstood the forces of evil and tyranny in whatever form they found them, and they have discharged their common duty to the human race.
