Brother Rachid, the son of a Moroccan imam, has posted a video called “A Message to President Obama From a Former Muslim” in which he attempts to give the President a crash course in Islamic studies. He begins by telling the president that he is wrong when he said that ISIL speaks for no religion. The former Muslim-turned-Christian further explains that terrorism begins in the schools and Mosques and must be cut off at the root.

“I can tell you with confidence that ISIL speaks for Islam. ISIL is a Muslim organization.” - Brother Rachid

I have had the opportunity and pleasure to meet several former Muslims in my lifetime and they make excellent and powerful Christians. It is a sometimes dangerous conversion as Islam calls for the death of all Muslims who leave the religion. Islam calls for the conversion, subjugation, or elimination of all peoples who fall under its control. Leaving the religion to join another is simply not an option in Islam and frequently leads to the death or imprisonment of those who decide that the teachings of Muhammad are not for them.

Politicians in particular insist that this is not a war of religion or clash of civilizations. We see an endless spewing of “religion of peace” quotes, diatribes on “a nation of immigrants,” and complaints about ethnic profiling at airports. I wish that someone would tell that to the enemy, for that is exactly the war that they are waging.

“Mr. President, we will not let you run roughshod over our rights. We will challenge you in the courts, we will battle you at the ballot box. Mr. President, we will not let you shred our Constitution… It is decidedly not a time for the faint of heart. It is a time for boldness and action. The time is now. Stand with me, let us stand together for liberty.” – Senator Rand Paul

That message is the heart and soul of a possible Rand Paul run for the White House. He has urged us to imagine electing a President that is a “friend of liberty” who will defend the Constitution and push back against a federal government that is trampling our individual rights. Now is definitely the time for a “national revival of liberty” to restore the constitutional rights that have been under assault by the progressive cabal who have seized control of the Republic.

There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that the junior senator from Kentucky is seriously considering a presidential run in 2016. Like any smart, potential candidate he has consistently found a way to be up front on the great debates of the day and a perpetual center of media attention.

He was a huge hit at the recent CPAC event and his appeal has continued to grow across the political spectrum in general, and within the Republican Party specifically.  After the last State of the Union address there was an official Republican Party response delivered by Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) and an official TEA Party response delivered by Utah Republican Sen. Mike Lee. Then there was the official Rand Paul response by Senator Rand Paul. Who expected any less? Rand Paul is increasingly a movement all his own and his appeal is not constrained by the more traditional, and even newer, political power blocs.

It is interesting how wealthy liberals are continually blaming the American middle class for global warming, terrorism, and pretty much all of the world’s problems.

Simply put, it is all your fault.

Our Consumption Factor Imperils Us All

“People in the third world are aware of this difference in per capita consumption, although most of them couldn’t specify that it’s by a factor of 32. When they believe their chances of catching up to be hopeless, they sometimes get frustrated and angry, and some become terrorists, or tolerate or support terrorists…The only way out is to make consumption rates and living standards more equal around the world. We could have a stable outcome in which all countries converge on consumption rates considerably below the current highest levels."

And if the guilt and emotional blackmail over the melting glaciers and shrinking polar bear genitalia wasn’t enough, now the fact that not all of the world shares our lifestyle (or conversely, we are not as poverty stricken as they are) is cause for serious self-examination and self-blame. I don’t think I can bear it. After staggering under the “white man’s burden” for 2,000 years of colonization and exploitation of those of a darker hue, now I must shoulder the burden for causing Islamic terrorism and the devastating changes to our planet that will quickly lead to the extinction of the human race.

More Sex, No Guilt, No Consequences - Now that our society has officially lowered us all to the level of rutting rabbits, the Coalition for Positive Sexuality (www.positive.org) is specifically targeting and encouraging promiscuous sex, abortion, and homosexuality to young teenagers. The Younger the Better should be their slogan.

Funded by the homosexual lobby (and perhaps finally putting the myth that there is no homosexual agenda to rest) CPS is aggressively pushing its agenda of more sex/no guilt/no consequences to young and impressionable children at public schools nationwide. The greatest concession to personal responsibility and self-restraint that they attempt is to urge you to try and not catch a STD.

It is a good example of the alliance between the homosexual and Feminista movements. Anything to undermine traditional morals and values and the traditional family structure that they jointly regard as their greatest enemy.

As if our kids aren’t over-sexed enough, our "progressive friends" would apparently have the youngest of teenagers take this site to heart and find the nearest straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered individual so that they can explore their sexuality together. How endearing and touching. And if you are worried about the physical, emotional, or spiritual consequences of such actions you are probably just some sort of repressed fuddy-duddy who's out to ruin the fun for everyone else.

"We Will Follow Them To The Gates Of Hell" - The official response of the Obama administration to the recent beheading of two Americans in Syria by ISIS has been muddled at best. The often timid and tepid statements by various White House spokesmen, the State Department, and even the President himself in response to these specific tragedies and the general threats poised by ISIS have been vague, confusing, contradictory, and sometimes downright silly. (You do know that the members of ISIS are Muslims right? The White House apparently isn't even sure on that one.)

Though the sharpness of the rhetoric by both Obama and Secretary of State Kerry has increased somewhat in the last day or two, only very limited air strikes have been carried out over the last few weeks and in a stunning statement Obama admitted that his administration has 'no strategy yet' for dealing with the ISIS strongholds and bases of power in Syria. And according to the State Department ISIS isn't even at war with the US. Tell that to James Foley and Steven Sotloff and the blasted to bits ISIS fighters around the Mosul dam. Very similar statements were made in regards to pre 9-11 Al Qaeda, and the seeming hesitancy to acknowledge the truth of the situation by the current administration is somewhat disturbing.

In stark contrast to the muddling mediocrity oozing from Washington, potential presidential wannabe Vice President Joe Biden took to the road, and took it upon himself, to take a very hard stand against ISIS in regards to their latest outrages against the civilized world.

Biden on Wednesday delivered a fiery response to the killing of American journalist Steven Sotloff, calling ISIS barbarians and letting them know that the U.S. will “follow them to the gates of hell.”

President Obama and his progressive allies have told us that even the most draconian of gun laws must be passed because “If we save even one life from gun violence, it’s worth it.” While that’s an amazingly ignorant, infantile, and even downright silly statement, it does neatly sum up a nanny-state philosophy that is fueling a nationwide assault on the second “shall not be infringed” amendment as well as law-abiding gun owners across the nation.

By such simplistic liberal logic, the printed word is far too dangerous to be allowed outside the hands of a privileged few or the auspices of government control. In fact, entire cultures, nations, and peoples have been persuaded to commit atrocious acts of aggression and even genocide by simple concepts spread by the printed word and other mass message distribution devices. If you are going to start banning guns, then you better start banning ideas and the ways they are disseminated. And remember, if only one life is saved by such extreme actions “at least we did something.”

Simple words printed on pieces of paper have indeed shown themselves to be far more dangerous than the mere possession of firearms by a certain percentage of a population.

The advent of the printing press, and the technologies that evolved from it, facilitated the widespread distribution of controversial, violent, and often hateful concepts and ideologies. In the last century alone approximately 170 million people were killed because of the ideas outlined within just three books.* The contents of Mao’s “Little Red Book,” Hitler’s Mein Kampf, and Marx and Engel’s The Communist Manifesto have been responsible for more repression, massacres, genocide, and cataclysmic warfare than all other theologies and ideologies from the beginning of time until now.
