Almost all societies have diverse populations. Divisions between national, racial, ethnic, and religious groups and tensions fueled by past and present patterns of discrimination are among the key risk factors for conflict and atrocity crimes. Managing diversity constructively and building resilient, inclusive and transparent societies is crucial for the prevention of violent conflict as well as atrocity crimes, which we define as genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing, and crimes against humanity.
Pope Francis sparked a diplomatic row on Sunday by calling the massacre of up to 1.5 million Armenians 100 years ago the first genocide of the 20th century. Muslim Turkey accepts that many Christian Armenians died in clashes with Ottoman soldiers beginning in 1915, when Armenia was part of the empire ruled from Istanbul, but denies hundreds of thousands were killed and that this amounted to genocide. Pegida, Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamization of the West, Patriotische Europäer gegen die Islamisierung des Abendlandes, declares Turkey tries to Islamize Europe.
All over the world Vienna is the symbol of resistance against Islam. It is Vienna that the Islamic invasion of the West was stopped in 1683. Islam was defeated at the gates of Vienna.
Today we have a clear message for Islam again. The same message that King John Sobieski had when he rushed to Vienna in 1683 to help defend it against the Turks: You will not be able to overwhelm Vienna or the West. Because we will not allow it.

Saudi Arabia plays a double game, as many Saudi princes finance ISIS! - Islam is a lie, Muhammad a criminal, the Koran is poison. This is the new slogan on the flag of Saudi Arabia modified to declare truth and liberation.
We are relieved that the Saudi authorities have postponed blogger Raif Badawi’s second session of 50 lashes on medical grounds but we very concerned about his health and urge the authorities to abandon this barbaric punishment altogether because it could prove fatal.
Sentenced to ten years in prison and 1,000 lashes last November, the young blogger was due to receive the second round of 50 lashes after Friday prayers, but the doctor who examined him decided that he could not endure more flogging for the time being because he has not recovered from the first session a week ago. The second session has therefore been postponed until next Friday.
Saudi Arabia can do longer deny the gravity of this flogging, a barbaric punishment that is contrary to international law. In view of Badawi’s alarming condition after 50 lashes, how can the Saudi authorities envisage inflicting another 950 lashes? It is a death sentence. He would not survive. Saudi Arabia must immediately rescind this sentence to avoid doing something that cannot be undone.

Hollande deports a number of freakish imams to tackle the terrorism of caliphate. Caliphate is the system of government established in Islam and represents the leader's unity of the Muslim Ummah community. It is an aristocratic theocracy, where the Caliph and other officials are representatives of the people and of Islam and must govern according to Sharia. Now Occident has been hoodwinked to support a global terrorist caliphate by encouraging Islamist rebels!
Al-Qaeda has as one of its clearly stated goals the re-establishment of the caliphate. Ayman al-Zawahiri seeks to restore the caliphate, which had formally ended in 1924 following the dissolution of the Ottoman Empire. Zawahiri believes that once the caliphate is re-established, Egypt would become a rallying point for the rest of the Islamic world, leading the jihad against Occident.
Ron Paul, a frequent reader of venitism.blogspot.com, muses what a wonderful world it would be if everyone accepted the simple moral premise of rejecting all acts of aggression. The retort to such a suggestion is always: it's too simplistic, too idealistic, impractical, naive, utopian, dangerous, and unrealistic to strive for such an ideal. The answer to that is that for thousands of years the acceptance of government force, to rule over the people, at the sacrifice of liberty, was considered moral and the only available option for achieving peace and prosperity.
What could be more utopian than that myth, considering the results especially looking at the state sponsored killing, by nearly every government during the 20th Century, estimated to be in the hundreds of millions. It's time to reconsider this grant of authority to the state. No good has ever come from granting monopoly power to the state to use aggression against the people to arbitrarily mold human behavior. Such power, when left unchecked, becomes the seed of an ugly tyranny. This method of governance has been adequately tested, and the results are in: reality dictates we try liberty.
Infamous cyclist Lance Armstrong ended years of lies on Thursday. He finally confessed to Oprah Winfrey that he was doping on a consistent way. Armstrong's confession comes just months after the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) released a detailed report describing him as the ringmaster of the most sophisticated, professionalized and successful doping program that sport has ever seen.
We all know what happens at Olympics, an international competition of steroids, not athletes. People feel well during the games, but feel miserable after the games when they find out Olympics cost them ten times more than projected, and most of it went to bribe kleptocrats!
A poll on my website shows 60% of people consider athletic competitions not really competitions of athletes, but of pharmaceutical companies and bribes! Every year, new untraceable dopes show up, which bring gold medals.
